Catching up, part three - Joe + Jo

Just a week after shooting Clare and Tom's wedding, I was in (VERY) sunny Portugal to photograph Joe and Jo's special day.

 Strong colours are somehow easier to pull off in the bright sunlight.

 Above, and below, are two of my favourite portraits of all time, let alone from my wedding work.

The ceremony and reception took place at Casa Fajara, a boutique hotel in Carrapateira, and is a highly recommended spot next time you're in the Western Algarve.

I love that little smile that all grooms get after they've taken a peek back over their shoulders towards their bride.

Not a terrible location, huh?

 A Brazilian tradition is to turn your back on the bride and groom in the photos...not sure what that one's all about!
