Benson's Fair

Soooo.....here are the rest of those images I said I was going to upload...over a month ago. I love fairgrounds even though I don't like going on the rides (I don't really enjoy being terrified). Bright lights, garish colours, and fried foods - that's basically the holy trinity as far as both life and photography are concerned for me.

Last weekend I went over to my local funfair to take some photos of the sparkly lights and pretty colours. I'll share some more of those images later in the week but first here's a portrait of one of the fairground workers. He recommended I head over to a different spot to get a better shot of the Sky Rider and we fell into conversation. He had studied photography for two years at college before girl trouble caused him to drop out and take a different path, but he hadn't enjoyed the course that much anyway.

Stratford Circus' Saturday Scratch

Some images from the dress rehearsal of Stratford Circus' Saturday Scratch this past weekend. They've got a really varied programme at Stratford Circus, there's a lot of pieces worth checking out - circus, dance, comedy, family shows. 

 Whatevs, I could do juggling AND one-handed cartwheels if I WANTED to, okay?
