There's a whole world of ways to keep in touch now, an almost dizzying number (not like in my day etc etc). I thought it might be a good idea to let you know the ways you can find me - and please let me know how to find you, dear readers! I will happily gossip and share great pictures network in a highly professional manner all the livelong day.
TWITTER
I started a new Twitter account to keep in touch with friends and clients around this gorgeous city and beyond. This account is more photography-focused but of course there'll be a few cat meme tweets and probably lots of puns. I am @KLLPhotographer (tweet me to guess that middle initial!) or you can click on 'TWITTER' above.
FACEBOOK
I've also got a lovely new Facebook page for my photography - click on the link above to like it, or search Facebook for Katherine Leedale Photographer. Here you'll find samplings of all the different shoots I do AS WELL AS some exclusive behind-the-scenes snaps.
INSTAGRAM
This is one of my favourite networks but also mostly just for fun - lots of the tiny details I love photographing and an occasional bonus shot of me playing with a spaniel puppy (which I do whenever I can find one). I promise there's not too many selfies. Double-tap away - I am @kleedale.
PINTEREST
If you're keen to see the inspirational images I want to stare at forever you can follow my board LOVE - photography or if you would also like to see paintings I enjoy, the tasty dishes I plan to make, shoes I want to buy, and all that nonsense you can follow all my boards. Again you can find me by searching 'Katherine Leedale' or my pinner name 'kleedale' (sensing a theme yet?)
LINKEDIN
For those of you more professionally minded I'm on LinkedIn - my public profile is here (but let's face it, the others are more fun!)
WEBSITE
All of this socialising is very well and good but you might actually want to see my portfolio maybe? Just click on over to katherineleedale.com and see what's what. I am planning a big overhaul of the site so remember to check back in a month or so for hot new pictures fresh out of the internet's oven.
EMAIL
To get in touch directly you can email me info [at] katherineleedale.com (you know what to do with the bit in the middle!).
I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you!
P.S. I got these nifty icons from this site.

I tested out my new Polaroid macro filters before an egg decorating session with Jessica this weekend. So far, I love these bad boys! I haven't yet tried the +1 or +2 filters but did test out the +4 and +10 ones and also stacked them to create the equivalent of +14. I absolutely love tiny detail shots and these filters work by reducing the minimum focusing distance so you can get very close to your subject (as above). I bought the 52mm thread filters so they would fit on my favourite 50mm lens.
One tip for anyone else thinking of buying and using these is that they dramatically reduce the depth of field - the shot below is at f8.0 but appear as though it's about f4 or even lower - so close down the aperture as much as possible. But I can now take as many pictures of SEQUINS as my sparkle-loving heart could desire.
Oops - sequins vs floor incident.
Jessica looks pretty pleased with her eggy self-portrait.
Nothing like a bit of crafting on a sunny late afternoon.

Swans and scum and seven kinds of blossom, burned-out trees and churches, Leedale Junior flipping me some v's, and ice-creams so big they make you squinty. A good day on the river.
